Alexandro Vielma, a senior at Sonora High in La Habra, won the boys varsity Division 3-4-5 race at the ASICS Cool Breeze Invitational, clocking 15:28.7 on the 3-mile course at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. Vielma helped Sonora secure sixth overall with 233 points.
